Sausage Tater Tot
Breakfast Casserole

We are trying hard to reduce the sugar we eat for breakfast in our house and this casserole is perfect! It can be put together the night before and baked the morning of so everyone has a hot protein packed breakfast to fuel their whole day instead of crashing them half way through the morning! Also is great for brunch of breakfast for supper!

Makes 12 servings approximately 450 calories and 26 grams of protein each.

2 lbs Hot Breakfast Sausage
1 30oz bag Frozen Tater Tots
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
8 eggs
2 cups Milk

Preheat Oven to 350. Lightly spray 9x13” pan with cooking spray. Brown sausage and drain fat. In large bowl toss together tots, sausage, and cheese. Spread into 9x13. Whisk together eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and milk. Pour over tot mixture and bake for 60-70 minutes until eggs are set and golden brown on top.
